Sgt. James “Ed” Ware has been a sworn officer of the York County Sheriff’s Office since 1981. He became a DARE Officer in 1990 and did his Mentor training in Raleigh, NC in 1995. Currently, Sgt. Ware is the supervisor of the DARE Program and the Lake Enforcement Division of the Sheriff’s Office. Sgt. Ware has served as a Chaplain of the SC DARE Association and is currently the First Vice President. |
